Hi everyone (lol guess who), this will be the final post regarding the CIP on wednesday.

1. Those who don't have an extreme makeover shirt, because you've thrown it away, lost it, didn't get one, etcetc... please tell me by tomorrow. I need to confirm with the overall rep so you can get a shirt in time.

2. The bolsters and paint will be brought there by the school, so we will need to confirm the amount of paint. i'm asking for 2 tins of that apple colour but i'm not that sure how much we really need. i'll also ask for 3 brushes, 3 smaller rollers and 4 big rollers if possible. that means up to 10 people can paint at once. that should be enough for 2 rooms. :)

3. that leaves the ice cream lah.theres still like 5+ people who have nothing to do. so go buy icecream lor. ms tee mentioned ntuc, shengsong and shop and save (the 2 last stickers HAHA) to make it more complete maybe we can buy cones and toppings. from what i know, the limit for food was increased from 30-50. please remember to keep the receipts for claiming. no receipt, write on some paper and get the signature of the shopkeeper. this is very important. whoever's going to pay, please take note. thanks

4. The reporting time for the CIP activity is 7 30 am,  outside the auditorium. take attendence -> board bus at 8. there is some equipment to collect, before boarding the bus.  (i'll try to get more info on what to take)  if you are going straight to the place, please tell lionel by tomorrow.  reach latest by 9am and lionel needs to tell ms tee once they arrive so she can take attendence.

5. 2 people still haven't hand in forms leh. please try your best to hand in. i'm not too sure what will happen if you don't.

6. Dear all,

Just to add to Jay's email... dress code will be Extreme Makeover T-shirt and either jeans, slacks or three-quarter pants... DO NOT wear shorts, bermudas shorter than 3/4 or skirts. Please also wear covered shoes only, no slippers, sandals (sports or otherwise), strappy heels, etc... Remember you're representing your school in the Bedok neighborhood.

-econs tutorial 2, since we finished the lecture notes the tutorial should be do-able, dunno if leongcf wants us to do it

make sure you prepare yourself mentally. you'll probably be sleeping on chairs beside the pool or in the gym/function room/dance studio. that is, IF you get any sleep at all.

Talent Time was a BLAST!

Many congrats to Ryan, Lester Leong for their stunning beatbox performance, and of course clinching the Grand Champion Prize! You guys were AWESOME! Also not forgetting Xiao Hui in her band, and her melodious voice!! 6B truly rocks yeah?

Unfortunately, it ended too late so plans for a CT supper were foiled...

So anyway, there is always tomorrow's gathering to look forward to!

Our class has such a nice, pretty blog!! =) Many thanks to Desheng for his hard work!

It has been an eventful and exciting Term 1 wouldn't you agree? Orientation, DramaFest, Fac CIP, lecture tests, etc etc...and class outings! Would like to congratulate all of you for passing through this term in one piece (albeit with a few catching the flu bug)!

Before we move on to more exciting Terms 2, let's have a good rest over the March holidays =) Take a few days to rest before spending time to catch up on lessons or tutorials that you're falling behind on and holiday homework (i.e. Chem: 10 ticked questions, the other 21 questions you're strongly encouraged to attempt ;-) )

Before I get too long-winded, would just like to wish all of you a great, well-deserved break! =)

Hey guys there's 2 more things we need to settle for the CIP activities. I already got  some emails asking for confirmation so we need to hurry up. I'll be a bit more serious here.

As I mentioned before we have $100. Up to $30 can be spent on food. The rest must be spent on things like daily necessities. They have requested for bolsters and extra cleaning materials. I've already asked if scrubs are included in the budget. Haven't got a reply yet.

Anyway if we estimate bolsters to be 15 each then 2x15 = 30. We have about 40 more which we need to decide on what to spend on.

I was thinking maybe some interactive games, such as taboo, uno stacko, monopoly etc. It could be quite fun maybe? But I'm not too sure of how much they will approve of such stuff. Besides, after this time it's not too easy for them to make use of it again.

From a brief discussion today we have come up with ideas like a emergency use hamper (lol) I didn't write it down so I can't remember lah my bad... but we need to decide by tomorrow. If you read this very sentence try to ponder for a while then continue reading so we can speed up our discussion.

The second thing is the food which has a cap of 30 dollars. If like 5 people go with them, we have only max 4 bucks per person which isn't a lot. So we need to come up with a place that's CHEAP, yet enjoyable. I am currently thinking of BnJ but I'm not sure how much it really costs. So again we need to discuss tmr.

We don't really need the whole class lah... maybe 6-7 people. So if 1/3 of us come up with great ideas we can do this in 10 minutes. i know alot of us don't care (i don't rly either) but lets just do a good job okay... it doesn't feel very good to know that we've left someone elses house half done and hasn't tended to it since. so ya thanks for everyones cooperation and good night.

Boring KAP, mcdonaldsssss, lemon chickennnnnzzzz and dunno what la! SO SIAN! So! KFC! YEAH! Today's outing was.. -_- epic fail la. lol. so Everyone must go tomorrow! lol actually i wanted to tag nia... but cos i realised i got a few things to say might as well make a new post.

first is lunch =D since tuesday's lessons end at 12 with half an hour of sleeping before that we might as well go eat lunch? it's alr damn hard to have this kind of opportunity cos everyone has their 10pm timetables due to council, cca mugging etcetc... so make good use of this day lah!

secondly, we could have a few notices and reminders on the banner maybe? like important dates, homework reminders, and maybe share some photos =D i think that banner thing is really going to be very useful if we use it properly.

damn tired already cos just reached home 30 minutes ago so sorry if i make any mistakes while typing...

anyway we need to go back for founders day cip to that amazing house of chia family on 28th march, which is another saturday gone yayayay.

the actual CIP lasts from 9 - 12, but we have to be in school by 8. from experience we need the last hour for clean up etc, so we will probably half only 2 hours to paint. it should be enough right? this time, eileen won't be following us i think, we solo.

thing is that we now have 100$, out of which a maximum of 30 can be spent on makan, then the remaining 70 will be used to get them new furniture, etc. i (or lionel or gail or someone) will check with them what they need tmr, then we can discuss about the 70, but the other 30 we can decide.

we have 1.5 rooms to paint... which is 2 rooms. if we have 5 per room plus 5 waiting/slacking/helping/running errands etcetc we need 15. i think anything more and it will just decrease the speed. so the rest can just follow the family (justin =D) out for a meal or something. what do you guys think?

we need to finalize our plan by next tuesday (i will have to send an email to tee) so here is a list of things we need to do...

1. settle attendance, not sure if everyone can make it so we need to decide on how many people. i have cca on sat but i think can pon.

2. decide on activities, best done by sunday. if really can't monday.

3. decide on how to spend the 70 bucks, i'll call tmr afternoon to check with the family.

It is of my opinion that the class has been too random as of late. As such, the random-ness level shall be increased as being random is detrimental to our health.
