Whee people
I just finished a book today
So I shall recommend the movie adaptation




It's about this group of people
who saw a job advertisement with a hourly pay of 112k Japanese Yen
so they signed up for it and ended up in this so called 'experiment'
The group of 10 people (there's 12 people in the novel though)
will be kept in an underground facility for 7days
and as the trailer shows
each of them will be given a weapon that can be used to murder the other people in the facility.

What happens... I guess it's quite easy to figure out right?

HAHA
The book is quite nice lah
at first I thought it was a copy of 'And Then There Were None'
But apparently the author only included certain things to make reference to that book
and the author reads a lot of foreign suspense/murder stories as seen from the references made in the book.

There's no news of it showing in Singapore though...

OH BUT

Dear C2 students,

Recently we have discovered a few of our students using a certain programme to generate the GC Reset Screen to give the impression that the memory of the graphic calculator (TI84 or TI84SE) has been reset when actually it has not. The act, intentional or unintentional, is a very serious breach of academic honesty and will result in a recording of a T grade for one or more subjects which involved the use of GC.

We certainly do not want to see our students committing such a serious offence during the GCE A-Level Examinations. In view of this incident, all students are to bring their GC for the math lecture and math tutors will physically do a GC Reset check. Please ensure that your GC is "resettable" using the 2, 8, ON procedure prior the math lecture (if your GC cannot be reset using 2, 8, ON, the problem may be you have not upgraded the GC OS to version 2.43 or later, and/or you need to change your GC battery).
Your name will be recorded if you did not bring your GC or your GC cannot be reset using 2, 8, ON during the math lecture. Thereafter, appropriate action(s) may be taken against you.
Math rep: this is your responsibility to make known to all your classmates of this EMB message.

Hope those who have worked hard for the Prelims will be duly rewarded....

EHHH Because there isn't this book in the library
So I don't really know the exact story
the trailer should save enough though
and lol at the sadistic music

And the author (Yamada Yusuke) has had other titles made into movies too!
they're quite nice
Real Onigokko (the book was better) and Oyayubi sagashi

They're all horror btw (real onigokko isn't really horror though...)

If I'm not wrong it's a love story (haven't read the book though I have it at home)
Btw, if you study Japanese literature

So I guess it's a good story?

hi all plz remember to come for the bbq on wednesday

some of us will meet at 2pm at bukit batok west mall for lunch first, then shop for all the stuff we need (please sms me if you are going to west mall to buy stuff first, we'll need some help here i think) -> proceed to matthew's house. i think the whole thing will end around 10.

if you cant reach west mall, then you can go to matthews hosue straight around 4

matthew booked the basketball court as well in case we need it :)

Hey guys, just saw this phone review, thought its kinda interesting.

This is a global GSM phone. It can be used with AT&T and T-Mobile USA, but without 3G.

Introduction and Design:

You know that “cycle” and “cyclic” are among the most overused words in the fashion world and we often get to see things that used to be in vogue become all the rage years later. The rule doesn’t really seem to apply to the inhabitants of the cell phone universe, although we have recently witnessed a major u-turn back to handsets with really small overall size, say, models like the Nokia 8390 and Panasonic G51 that were massively popular back in 2002-2003. The market adoption of huge cell phone displays was, however, to change all this, since larger screens simply require heftier weight and increased physical size. Quite a few “mini” devices have been introduced this year, say the Xperia X10 mini and mini pro, HTC HD mini and LG Mini GD880. The former two are tiny indeed, while the latter pair is better described as compact alongside of most contemporary devices.

The guys over at LG appear to have hit the nail on the head and the Mini GD800 seems like a definite success with regard to size. We believe them when they say the handset is the world’s smallest cell phone to integrate a 3.2-inch screen. The overall design is so simplified that it even looks a tad incomplete – the GD880 looks more like one of those nameless devices manufacturers use to showcase new operating systems. We have to admit the LG Mini GS880 reminds us of the prototype of the iPhone 4, it just happens to be a bit more jagged and angular.

The build quality is really good – the metal elements give the phone a solid and reliable feel, not to mention the handset is not on the weighty side of life either (102gr). The LG Mini GD880 is slightly discomforting to carry about in your pocket, but feels awesome in your hand. Its rubber back, however, doesn’t exactly help towards a better, safer grip.
